[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”764″ img_size=”large”][vc_images_carousel][vc_column_text]There’s nothing greater than being able to cook a traditional meal for friends and family. You don’t need to explain it, they smell those ingredients, they understand the happiness it brings. You create this with love and watch them dive in and eat. This Lasagna is traditional with some secrets hidden inside.

Total Cooking Time:  1 HOUR

This dish should serve: 18-20 people

       INGREDIENTS

    •    4lbs of ground beef or ground turkey
    •    1 cup of shredded carrots
    •    8-12 oz(s)  of Mushrooms
    •    1 full cup of chopped onions
    •    1 can of crushed tomatoes
    •    1 clove of minced garlic
    •    2 oz(s) of Olive or Canola Oil
    •    4 oz(s) Italian Seasoning  **
    •    2 tbsp. of sea salt & pepper
    •    3 boxes of oven ready noddles
    •     (Optional  )
    •     Braggs Apple Cider Vinger 2 oz(s) **
    •     1oz Diced Tomatoes

  The Cheeses

  • 1(lb) of cottage cheese
  • 1(lb) of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1(lb) Mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees, then mix your cheeses together in a bowl and refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Preheat sauce pan, add 1 oz of the cooking oil, apple cider vinegar, pasta sauce, italian seasoning, salt & pepper, and 1 cup of red wine for 30 minutes in the sauce pain. Be sure to stir occasionally.
  3. Heat another pan, add 1(oz) of cooking oil in pan, then add carrots, chopped onions, mushrooms, and garlic, cooking for 10 minutes on low. When done add the sauce from other pan for flavor.
  4. Add 1 cup of sauce to the bottom of the Lasagna pan, then add 1 layer of the Lasagna noddles. This creates a nice foundation for the rest of the structure of the lasagna. Add more layers using a pattern, like sauce, cheese, noodles. Make sure to layer the noodles in the opposite direction of the previous layer.
  5. Cover with  foil on top for 4 minutes.
  6. Now take off the foil and place in the oven for 20 minutes on 450 degrees, or until cheese is golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven after 20 minutes, then let stand for 15 minutes. Now serve.
